CDI was established in 1991 with the sole aim of constructing state of the art homes at reasonable prices to meet the rising demand from office workers migrate into Colombo. We immediately made a mark for ourselves with construction and design at our cornerstone, ability to complete projects to high specifications within a stipulated time and handover deeds hassle free.
Our maiden projects were Metro Apartments, 55th Lane, Colombo – 6 and Pearl Apartments, Perera Lane, Colombo 6. Success from these ventures catapulted the launch of Breezy Apartments at Rajasinghe Road. CDI Apartments at Manning Place, St. Lawrence Shopping Complex at Galle Road and Rohini Court at Rohini Road in Colombo – 6. CDI Apartments at Frankfurt Place, Colombo – 4 and Ebenezer Court, Ebenezer Place, Dehiwela were subsequently constructed outside Colombo – 6 as our market expanded.
As the company grew in strength, we formed a subsidiary company, Lankamirtha Clydesbuilt (PVT) Ltd, a BOI approved company and joint venture with Clydesbuilt Ltd, Singapore. This remarkable endeavor gave rise to the multi storied apartments in Miagiriya Avenue, Colombo – 4 and Greenpark Apartments at Fredrica Road, Colombo – 6.
With the notion of widening our market we began to focus on high rise construction in Colombo North. This led to Grace Court at Jampettah Street and Center Court at Wasala Road in Kotahena which were warmly welcomed.
At CDI we pride ourselves on our ability to provide multi storied luxurious comfort whilst still keeping the essence of home and hearth alive. Our most innovative project at Barnes Place, Colombo 07 named Park View Residence remains a testament to this talent.
We recently completed a mega-project at Alexandra Road, Colombo -6 with the associate company named AMA Holdings (PVT)Ltd. Simultaneously our integration with complete investments (PVT) Ltd has also successfully completed Cornish Apartment at Galle Face Terrace, Colombo -3. At present our company is in the process of handing over the deeds to the respective buyers as promised.
CDI has remained a pioneer and trusted name in construction since its inception. In order to strengthen our capacity, we have set up another joint venture called Fift At Lester’s (PVT) Ltd and construction work is now ongoing for a mega project at Dr.Lester James Peiris Mawatha, Colombo-5.
